Connect Airbnb & Booking.com to ChatGPT, Claude or any AI.

hejGuide is your channel manager for Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and more — and its open Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or n8n work across all of them at once. The AI drafts. You publish. Included on Starter and Pro.

One MCP server for every channel and every AI

hejGuide is your channel manager for Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and more — and the MCP server on top means any AI assistant works across all of them at once. Pick a side, we handle the rest.

AirbnbChatGPT

Connect Airbnb to ChatGPT to draft guest replies, review responses and reports.

AirbnbClaude

Connect Airbnb to Claude for messaging, guidebooks and local-guide drafts.

Booking.comChatGPT

Let ChatGPT summarise Booking.com reviews and draft replies in your voice.

Booking.comClaude

Claude reads Booking.com reservations and writes the follow-ups you approve.

VrboCursor

Wire Vrbo into Cursor or the OpenAI Agents SDK for custom host workflows.

All channelsn8n

Automate across Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and more from one n8n flow.

Because every channel flows through hejGuide first, your AI assistant never touches an OTA directly — it talks to one secure endpoint and sees a single, unified view of your short-term rental business.

Built so you stay the host

Four design decisions you can quote back to a guest who asks how this works.

Bring your own AI

MCP is an open standard. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n — connect the assistant you already use. No vendor lock.

You approve every module

OAuth 2.1 with per-scope consent. The AI sees only the modules you grant — reservations, guidebook, places, translations, reports — and nothing else.

Drafts, not sends

New pages, places, translations, message replies and review replies always land as drafts in your dashboard with an AI badge. You click Publish.

Guest data is masked

Guest names are masked by default. Unmasks are capped at 50/day per account, require a reason, and are audit-logged for GDPR.

What you can ask

A few examples from real host workflows. The AI runs the tool; the result waits for your click.

Insights

Look across my bookings, reviews and messages from the past week — what are the three things I should act on?

What happens: A ranked shortlist in chat, with links. Pure analysis — nothing is changed or published.

Reviews

Summarise this month’s reviews across Airbnb and Booking.com. Which complaints come back more than once?

What happens: A grouped summary in chat — no PII, no publishing, just analysis.

Messaging

A guest is asking about late check-in. Draft a friendly reply in their tone of voice that confirms 22:00 is fine.

What happens: A draft reply appears in the thread with an ‘AI suggestion’ tag. You send when you’re happy.

Local guide

Add three good breakfast spots within a 10-minute walk of the cabin. Include hours and a one-line description each.

What happens: Three draft places appear in /local-guide with the wand-icon badge. You publish what you like.

Operations

What does this weekend’s revenue look like across all listings, broken down by channel?

What happens: A clean number in chat. No dashboard click-through needed.

Tasks

Open a housekeeping issue for the cabin: hot water tap leaking in the kitchen, priority high.

What happens: Task created in hejGuide with the right listing and priority — visible to your cleaner immediately.

How to connect

Four steps. You stay in your own AI app the whole time.

1

Open your AI client

In Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, or your n8n flow, add a new MCP server.

2

Point it at hejGuide

Use the URL https://mcp.hejguide.com/mcp — your client handles the OAuth handshake.

3

Approve the scopes

hejGuide shows a consent screen. Tick only the modules you want the AI to touch.

4

Ask away

Your AI assistant can now talk to your account. Anything it writes shows up as a draft in your dashboard.

The boring details (that matter)

Built on open standards. Audited per call. Revocable in one click.

Open standard

The AI Connection is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. MCP is an open Anthropic-stewarded standard adopted by every major AI vendor. You are not locked into one provider.

OAuth 2.1 with PKCE

Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 with Dynamic Client Registration, PKCE, and per-scope consent. Tokens are HMAC-hashed, session-bound, and revocable from your account settings at any time.

Audit-logged for GDPR

Every AI call is logged. Guest data is masked by default; unmasks are budgeted (50/day per account), require a written reason, and are retained for 12 months for GDPR traceability.

FAQ

Can I connect Airbnb to ChatGPT?
Yes. If your Airbnb is connected to hejGuide, you can connect ChatGPT (or Claude, Cursor, n8n) to your hejGuide account through our open Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. ChatGPT can then read your Airbnb bookings, draft guest replies, write review responses, edit guidebook pages and pull reports. Every AI write lands as a draft in your dashboard — you publish.
Is there an MCP server for Airbnb and Booking.com?
Yes. hejGuide runs an open MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at mcp.hejguide.com/mcp. Because hejGuide is connected to Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and more, the MCP server gives your AI assistant a single, channel-agnostic view of every reservation, message and review across all your OTAs — no per-channel integration to build.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
Anything that speaks MCP. That includes Claude Desktop, ChatGPT (Apps and API), Cursor, the OpenAI Agents SDK, n8n, and a growing list of others. Bring your own model — no vendor lock to a single AI provider.
Can AI answer my Airbnb and Booking.com guest messages?
It can draft them. Ask your AI assistant to reply to a guest and the answer appears as a draft in your hejGuide inbox with an "AI suggestion" tag, written in your tone of voice. Nothing is sent to the guest until you click Send, so you stay in control of every Airbnb and Booking.com conversation.
How is this different from "AI features" baked into other PMSes?
Most PMSes ship an AI feature inside their own app — you use their AI, on their terms. The AI Connection is the opposite: you connect the AI assistant you already use, to the modules you choose, with OAuth-level consent. The AI you talk to is yours. The data it can see is whatever you approve, nothing more.
Does the AI publish things automatically?
No, with one small exception. New guidebook pages, places, translations, message replies and review replies always land as drafts with an "AI draft" badge in your dashboard. You click Publish or Send. The single exception is internal team-chat messages, which send directly — mirroring how you already use team chat in the dashboard.
Is my guest data safe?
Yes. Guest names are masked by default in AI responses ("Anna K." rather than the full name). When you ask the AI to unmask, each unmask consumes from a 50-per-day budget per account, requires a reason, and is audit-logged for GDPR traceability. You can revoke the AI’s access at any time from your hejGuide settings.
Is the AI Connection production-ready?
Yes. It has been live in production since 20 May 2026 with the full feature set, and we keep adding tools and fixes regularly. The AI Connection is included on Starter and Pro at no extra cost.
Does it cost extra?
No. The AI Connection is included on Starter (€19/mo) and Pro (€29/mo) at no extra charge. You do need an AI assistant subscription on your side (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) — that part is on you, because it is your AI.
Where do I read the technical docs?
At help.hejguide.com/ai-connection/. Setup guides for Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor and n8n live there, along with the full tool catalogue and scope reference.
